September 14th. Friday!  Another day of Grammar Toss! We will have fun examining the basic errors that we slip into now that we have graduated from English class. Join the fun of looking at the 15 most common slippery places when writing for business, power letters to get what we want from the reader, and just plain old social media rants, etc. 10 to 4. Bring a sack lunch. Drinks supplied, and of course a fantastic dessert. Lots of fresh coffee! $25 for the day and lots of handouts.

A writer's residency in the San Bernardino National Forest in Crestline, California high above the city below and far away from noise and pollution, but still close enough to walk the mountain village and enjoy recreation in the beautiful forest at nearby Lake Gregory when you need a break. You will be in walking distance of a gas station, grocery store, bank, coffee shops and more, but still secluded in your hideaway writer's private retreat. 1 and 1/2 hours from Los Angeles, Palm Springs and San Diego. Enjoy the famous ski resorts nearby.

Fully furnished comfortable and very private two-story cabin with full library and classic DVDs, bundled Wi-Fi, computers, color printer, lots of paper and writing materials, well- stocked kitchen cabinets. food in the fridge and filtered "Arrowhead" water from the tap, dishwasher and stocked freezer, well-stocked varietal wine cellar, including welcoming Champagne, all linens, laundry room and large fenced backyard with custom dog house, huge river rock fireplace with cord of wood.
